Springville, NY – The No NAPL Coalition is teaming up with Sane Energy Project and 350.org to host the SIT-STAND-SING Workshop/Training on June 2, 2019 at the UNOVA Community Coworking Center in Springville, NY.
Throughout May, June and July 2019, Sane Energy Project and 350.org will travel across New York on the ‘Sit, Stand Sing’ tour.
This tour is a collaboration with communities featured on the You Are Here map of fracking infrastructure. Each tour stop entails trainings on organizing skills like strategy, direct action and movement building.
Our goal is to connect communities across the state to halt the expansion of fracked gas infrastructure and build the sustainable and renewable world we know is possible.
Sit, Stand, Sing Direct Action Tour dates:
- April 27 and 28: New York City.
- June 2: Springville, Erie Co.
- June 22:Oneonta, Otsego Co.
- June 25: Elmira, Chemung Co.
- June 29: Wingdale, Dutchess Co.
- July 13: Westchester Co.
