New York, NY – New York residents, activists, community organizers, and elected officials held a rally at Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building on August 11, 2019 before embarking on a march, which made stops at Frederick Douglas Circle, Museum of Natural History, Columbus Circle and culminate at Trump Tower; to issue a warning to City and State officials to address long-standing issues of public disinvestment, institutional racism, and criminalization of poverty.
Enough of assault weapons! Enough of white supremacy! Enough of police brutality!
